Govt. of India & Govt. of West Bengal provided funds from the DBCS as subsidy for holding Free Eye Camps in the unreached rural areas.

As of now the hospital is having latest ophthalmic microscope & Phacoemulsification machine, including diagnostics equipment like A Scan, B Scan, Perimetry, OCT, Specular, Green Laser etc.
Lions Care Centre is in the process of upgradation of its clinical services and Surgical Retinal Unit will be started and expected by November, 2023 so that it will become a centre of excellence over the period of time.

Since its establishment, the hospital has restored the vision of more than 55,000 individuals by providing cataract and other eye surgeries. Around 66 % of the surgeries are provided free of cost to the poor and downtrodden people.
